Pathways Explained

Configurable Feature Areas

A Pathway is an independently configurable feature area that handles a specific initiative. Pathways can be fully automated with AI, follow fixed rule-based steps, or combine both. You choose the right approach for each initiative. Each Pathway leverages shared Tools for external actions, and new Pathways can be added as UWIC's needs grow.

Tools Explained

Shared External Connectors & Services

Tools are shared connectors and services managed centrally. Any Pathway can leverage any Tool - configured once, used by many.

Volunteer management, hours tracking, opportunity data, and badge system integration

Raisers Edge NXT

Donor management, giving history, constituent data, and campaign tracking

Facebook Graph API

Content publishing, scheduling, engagement metrics, and audience insights

Email / SMS Services

AI Content Generation

Content Delivery

Governed Autonomy

Every AI action on the platform operates within a strict governance framework. AI is powerful, but it should only do what it's been authorized to do.

Bounded by Policy

Each Pathway defines exactly what its AI can and cannot do. AI operates only within its governed context and cannot reach beyond its boundaries.

Human in the Loop

Any Pathway can require human review and approval before AI actions are finalized. You decide where automation runs freely and where a person signs off.

Graceful Escalation

When AI encounters something unexpected or has low confidence, it routes to a human rather than guessing. The system knows when to ask for help.

Secure by Design

Your data is protected at every layer of the platform. Access is controlled, activity is tracked, and privacy is maintained throughout.

Phased Delivery for Manageable Progress

01

Admin Platform Foundation

02

First Pathway Implementation

Build, test, and deploy the highest-priority Pathway based on UWIC's organizational needs.

03+

Additional Pathways

Subsequent Pathways developed iteratively, each including testing, feedback, and refinement.

Pathways can be sequenced based on UWIC priorities. Each phase includes dedicated testing, stakeholder feedback, and iterative refinement.

Next Steps

1

Prioritize Pathways

Determine which Pathways deliver the most immediate value based on organizational needs and strategic goals.

2

Define Detailed Requirements

Collaborate on detailed requirements for the initial Pathway(s), including user stories, acceptance criteria, and integration specifications.

3

Develop Statement of Work

Formalize scope, timeline, deliverables, and investment into a detailed statement of work for mutual agreement.

4

Begin Implementation

Kick off Phase 1 with the platform foundation, followed by the first Pathway build and deployment.
